Teamwork at our workplaces is often a phrase misunderstood, misinterpreted and usually exploited in its meaning. What are we supposed to extract from teamwork? Unity, common effort and mutual cooperation lead to effective teamwork but in our workplaces, everybody tries to save his energy and avoid multitasking by sticking firmly to one's own tasks on an individual level.
Yes, selfishness is the key to an individual's success but what's the key to a team's success??? A well-organized leader and equal distribution of all tasks among the team members. Justice and fair play... so that nobody feels burdened with the workload and all stay motivated to complete their tasks within the specified timeline. Teamwork requires a common effort for sure with mutual feasibility and cooperation.
